QuickSilver’s ‘Sports’ exhaust systems for the Holden Monaro & VXR

The UKs leading Holden Monaro tuning specialist asked QuickSilver to design and develop a range of Sports exhaust systems for the Holden Monaro – for two models pre & post 2005.

This super saloon is manufactured in Australia using the Corvette’s engine and sold as the Holden Monaro in Australia & Europe and as the Pontiac GTO in North America.

A simple requirement: to maximise that glorious deep V8 throb with the ability to remain civilised, when necessary – but this is up to the driver.

The QuickSilver team were able to devise a new look to the system and a superb sports sound to give the cars a distinctive deeper V8 rumble with significant volume at higher rpm.

Both systems utilise QuickSilver’s version of the ‘X’ balance pipe allowing the exhaust gases from each cylinder bank to mix providing a wider spread of power and a distinctive sound.

Manufactured from lightweight type-304 grade stainless steel, Tig welded throughout and all mandrel-bent tube for maximum efficiency. The system is a bolt-on replacement for the standard factory system.
