Lotus Elise 111R / Exige 2
Manifold with Sports ‘Cat’
The QuickSilver team has designed the new stainless steel Lotus Elise 111R and Exige 2 manifold to be coupled with a 200 cell Hi-flow Sports catalytic converter or a catalytic converter replacement pipe. The unit reduces weight, improves performance and creates a level of sound that is appropriate to the Lotus name.
This ‘Sports’ system allows the speed and volume of the exhaust gas flow to be increased, producing a noticeable improvement in throttle response.
The manifold has mandrel bent pipe work with four equal length primaries, 4‑2‑1. The Sports catalytic converter or ‘Cat’ replacement pipe is held in position by springs. This allows for movement and improved durability over the original factory flexi-braided pipe system.
The driver will enjoy a higher pitched, crisper exhaust note with more volume as revs increase.
The system is a Bolt-On fit requiring no engine retuning. All lambda bosses are fitted.
The system is made from type 304 austenitic stainless steel.
This system is now available through Lotus dealers and Specialist garages or directly from QuickSilver Exhaust Systems.
