QuickSilver were recently approached by a customer who wanted something a little different. The brief was an unusual one, in fact never before has anyone asked QuickSilver for a system to be quieter than the original and even more unusual for it to be on a Ferrari!
The Owner drives between his homes in UK and the south of France and wanted a more relaxing journey in is Ferrari 365 GTC/4.
Quicksilver managed to reduce the sound by over 10db, which in the world of sound is a lot!
The noise readings before and after the QuickSilver installation were as follows:-

The reason for the inside readings @ 3000 revs [travelling] being the same for both cars is mainly due to tyre noise.
Now for the owner to tackle the small problem of tyre noise for the quietest Ferrari you’ve never heard!
