QuickSilver think they have found the essence of sports exhaust in this scene from the film, C'était un rendez-vous by Claude Lelouch.
Though, dramatised and more than a little dangerous the below link is a continuous 9 minute pure joy ride.
It is said that after seeing the film, the Chief of Police summoned Lelouch to his office and took his licence away.
He returned it seconds later, with a stern warning, "don't do it again!"
