QuickSilver’s Cat-Back ‘Sports’ exhaust system for the newest Supercharged Jaguar XKR 2007 model is aimed at drivers who expect a sound track to match the looks and performance.
QuickSilver’s newly developed ‘Sports’ exhaust system for the XKR is designed to give the cat a roar. Sound is such an important part of driving a sports car. The Jaguar XKR’s original factory silencers are cleverly designed but too muted for many drivers’ tastes, leaving the cat with a little miaow.
The QuickSilver team has engineered the ‘Sports’ system’s internal design to allow the volume and flow to increase in proportion with rpm. This provides the engine with a deeper tone at low engine speeds rising to a unique, growl and crisper exhaust note at higher rpm - without ever spoiling the luxury of this exotic sports car.
Attention to detail has always been a hallmark of QuickSilver products and this is no exception. Using Type 304 austenitic stainless steel, the pipes are mandrel bent to keep a constant internal diameter throughout the length ensuring an even flow of exit gases.
Much more efficient internal gas flow provides a noticeable improvement in throttle response for even more exuberant acceleration.
