QuickSilver has decided to support the team for a second year also to succeed in the most competitive Class 3 in the famous 24hr race in the UK.

With a huge Chevrolet 7-litre LS7 engine at the front, which will be restricted to around 450BHP, this RWD Marcos Mantis mounts Holinger 6 speed sequential gearbox.
The team is hoping that the reliability of the car, which has been developed for more than 10 years, and consistency from the Japanese drivers will bring a better result than last year’s 15th overall. (10th in Class 3)
While Masashi Kakiuchi, Ryu Seya and Yosuke Shimojima continue to take the driving duties in the race, now Yasushi Kikuchi will join the team for the first time.
Yasushi is a professional racing driver in Japanese sports and GT car racing and has raced many times in the Nurburgring 24hrs. He also is probably and presently best known in Japan as one of the best Highly tuned car 'Time-attackers' - A unique form of MotorSport that has a huge following in Japan.

Car Aston Martin GT4.
Vantage Racing are engineered by the very experienced Steve Hay of SMH Motorsport in Sussex.
This team finished second in the 2011 Aston Martin GT4 Challenge. After a year, only losing ‘by a nose’ at the final round to Nicholas Mee Racing.
Last year this team finished 12th overall in the Britcar with an older 4.3 Aston Martin N24
In 2011, with a new 4.7 Aston Martin GT4 – plus another year’s experience, more confident Drivers, and considerably more power, the Team is aiming for an overall win.
Ambitious maybe? – Steve says, ‘If we can keep it all together and the drivers on the tarmac, who knows?’.
QuickSilver have produced some special exhaust manifolds and catalysts for this GT4 and are using the Britcar 24 hours to prove their durability.
Both these cars are heavily liveried with QuickSilver Exhausts.
