‘Sports’
Our Sports system is designed to meet the widest range of tastes as it includes similar pneumatically-controlled valves as the factory system.
There is a butterfly-valve inside two of the four tail-pipes and these remain closed at small throttle opening thus allowing the car’s sound to remain civilised in town and at steady cruising speeds.
However, when the throttle is opened wider these valves open to allow full passage of exhaust through all four tail-pipes and provide a proper 12 cylinder Ferrari note.
One of our German customers said, ‘It sings like Maria Callas’.
‘SuperSports’
Our SuperSports system does not incorporate these valves and has a more ‘old fashioned’ sound. At low speeds it has a deeper tone but this rises in pitch and volume with increased throttle opening and rpm.
It has a sturdy sound on the gallops and an even more robust sound when heading down the final straight. |
