| THANK YOU for visiting the QuickSilver Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems website! We are extremely proud of our product, our heritage and especially, all our team. Below are some of the main personnel you may be speaking to at our headquarters in England. Paul Goddard Paul has worked in the exhaust industry since leaving College in 1973. First in and last out, he oversees all aspects of the business with the determination to make QuickSilver the first name for the world’s finest exhausts. His knowledge of exhaust systems is unmatched. He spent 5 years learning the ropes at ground level in the family business then 8 years running his own exhaust shops. He returned to the family group in 1986 to take charge of Fast-Fits directing an increasing emphasis on stainless sales. Since 2004 he has concentrated solely on promoting the QuickSilver name into an international brand. Paul’s enthusiasm for the business is almost matched by his keenness for MotorSport - he has raced most things with wheels, from Lawnmowers (12 hour Endurance, ‘worse than you could imagine’), to Citroen 2CV (24 hours of Mondello ‘a great weekend in Ireland’) to, more seriously, Motor-Cycles at the Isle of Man, ‘the ultimate Race’. Though he will probably never be satisfied with the evolution of his Porsche 911 he is looking forward to tackling more Sprints & Hillclimbs in 2007. Paul’s most enjoyable role is the development and production of new systems. Contact him directly with any unusual requests to take advantage of his experience. Contact Paul: info@quicksilverexhausts.com Barry Skene Barry’s skill, qualifications and experience in Graphic Design and Communication bring QuickSilver’s marketing up to a new level. An Honours Graduate of the Surrey Institute of Art, Barry combined his time in College with spells working for some of the world’s top MotorSport teams - in Formula One, Le Mans and in the USA. A member of McLaren’s F1 Test Team, Barry also worked with the BAM-Alex Job class-winning Porsche at Le Mans in 2005, with Dick Barbour Racing LMP in the USA and most recently in McLaren’s marketing dept. Educated in England and the United States, Barry picked up a taste for Ice Hockey whilst at school in Chicago and even played professionally for a while (at Haringey and Slough) - not easy in the UK!. He now plays In-Line Hockey for one of the UK’s top teams. Though Barry’s tastefully personalised Mini must be one of the smartest in England, he is presently considering an early Lotus Elise for the same treatment. Contact Barry: sales@quicksilverexhausts.com Chris Payne Chris joins us after 3 years with Argos (a UK retail warehouse chain) where he learned the techniques of processing large volumes of a huge range of products. He brings these skills to ensure that QuickSilver’s expanding business will remain efficient. With shipments leaving daily via Business Post, BAX–Schenker, Geologistics and UPS, Chris’s methodical approach is perfect. Already a keen cyclist and model car nut, Chris has become infected with an almost evangelical enthusiasm for modern performance cars – don’t question his knowledge! Chris also looks after QuickSilver’s partnerships with the classic car clubs. Contact Chris: admin@quicksilverexhausts.com |
